DJI diversifies: a look at the new DJI Avinox Drive System.

DJI is expanding its range of e-bikes. With a possible ban on drones in the US, let’s see how DJI’s recent technology will affect electric set upon bikes.

Chinese tech giant DJI, known for producing stunning drones, announced its new Avinox drive system for e-bikes earlier this week. Due to the possible (and probabilistically probable) ban on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the United States, DJI is exploring new directions. As an e-bike enthusiast, I’m happy to share all the details about DJI’s transition from drones to the new Avinox drive system.

A potential ban in the United States

DJI has been maul by American lawmakers who claim that DJI drones provide information about the American infrastructure of the Communist Party of China. The CCP Anti-Drone Law, initiated by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), could ban DJI drones in the United States. He has already received widespread support among other lawmakers.

DJI is diversifying its products

While DJI is investing in lobbying and seeking support from drone users to resist the ban, the company is also working on other technology products such as backup batteries that could be the best way to repower DJI drones.

The Avinox drive system is another similar product. However, instead of supporting DJI drones, this system is designed to transform electric set upon bikes. She made her debut at Eurobike and was named ‘The winner’ in the component category.

So, DJI has developed a new advanced drive system for e-bikes, but do you know its features? The new drive system features impressive details and is designed to compete with manufacturers such as Specialized and Bosch. Meanwhile, DJI will also launch its own brand of Amflow e-bikes.

High torque drive unit

The Avinox Drive system is based on a compact, high-precision drive unit. Weighing only 2.52 kg, it delivers an impressive 105 Nm of torque. Thus, for a small car, this is an excellent option, allowing you to easily overcome the most difficult routes. At the same time, thanks to the high-performance polymer gears, the ride becomes smooth and silent. I can’t wait to try this thing out on the steep steps.
